My partner and I, both Europeans, have a huge weakness for good sourdough bread and always wanted to make our own. We had the best experience with Vesna! I loved it that the class was tailored to our preferences (e.g. choosing the type of flour and bread we liked most) and we learned a lot in those 5 hours! We made a lot of bread and used the same dough to make lots of other baked goods such as different kinds of flatbreads, English muffins, grissini and even a small pizza. Also, we have our own sourdough starter now so we’re equipped to try making everything on our own. If you wanna learn how to bake amazing bread, I couldn’t recommend it more to book a class with Vesna 😊

We booked a gift experience for two young children and adults as part of a birthday celebration and we were not disappointed. Not only did we bake a LOT of bread on the day but we were also educated by Vesna throughout the session. She is very professional and left us with tools, recipe books and ingredients to continue our baking once we were done. THANK YOU Vesna!

I have been making bread for many years, but have never been completely happy with my efforts. I’ve attended numerous classes but have long wished for someone to come to my house to teach me – in my kitchen and with my oven. Enter Vesna and I am so pleased that I had a lesson with her. Vesna shared her knowledge and tips and did not stop for 4 hours. She demonstrated each step first and then I copied. By the time Vesna left, my mind was whirring with everything we had covered, and I had a huge number and variety of baked goodies - and renewed eagerness to bake more.

We really enjoyed and learned a lot from Vesna's sourdough breadmaking class. There were three of us in her class, conducted in one of our homes, and we had a range of breadmaking skills. Despite this range, we all learned a lot from Vesna and she is a clear and knowledgeable teacher. Perhaps biggest lesson for us was how relaxed Vesna was about sourdough "rules" and that any homebaker can regularly make delicious and varied sourdough at home.

Birthdays in isolation are not much fun... and like a lot of people in isolation I have tried to make sourdough.I have killed a starter... bought a starter and killed it and also become thoroughly confused reading a number of bread making blogs. I am a good cook and was frustrated by not being able to master sourdough.And then I found Vesna!!!!Vesna came to our house, fully prepared, and did an in-home cooking course as my birthday treat to myself 🙂 I had asked my kids to listen but Vesna was so patient with them they took part every step of the way.There is so much to take in that it is great to be taught by someone as confident and professional as Vesna. She also tailored the day, and my recipe book to our likes, so there wasn't a part of the day that we didn't enjoy what we were learning and eating. From fruit bread to pizza, white to olive we can now do it all.Fabulous way to spend the day; learning, eating and watching the kids enjoy being in the kitchen.

We booked in a weekend class with Vesna at our home and did the yeast based breads. We were total newbies and just wanted to learn the basics first. Vesna was such a great teacher, she called ahead to ask what type of breads we like then came with everything we needed to do the class. It's a long session...over 5 hrs but time just flies by. We ended up making so much bread, its amazing how a few batches of dough can create so many different and interesting breads. The process is surprisingly easy, you're not spending the whole day kneading, but having Vesna's knowledge and experience giving us tips on what to look for and assess when the dough is ready was what i found the most valuable. Also being at home, using our own oven and whatever kitchen utensils and pantry items we had, made me feel I could take away a lot more from the class to replicate at home. Thoroughly enjoyed the class, and hopefully this is the start to a lifelong skill of bread baking.

Our class was excellent. Between the time when we booked the class and when it occurred, social distancing restrictions came in so we did the class by video chat and it worked brilliantly (I think we were the first to take the class this way). Vesna had kindly provided the ingredients and materials the evening before. The next day we linked in and received all the demonstrations and information from Vesna in her kitchen to us in our kitchen. Because of the video format we could also log out while the dough was being left to rise and log back in when it was time for the next step. For us, the remote format was really convenient, and didn't detract from our learning experience, the food we made on the day was delicious!! as has been the bread we've made since. I have no hesitation in recommending this class to anyone keen to learn sourdough making.

Vesna was great! I'm already an enthusiastic baker but it was so great to have her come around and help me build my confidence in areas I wanted to work on. She really tailored the lesson to my needs. We made a range of different breads and put some of the bread dough to uses I would have never thought of! Highly recommend.

Loved the bread making course with Vesna! Such a presonalised workshop where we decided what kind of bread we wanted to make. Vesna is a great teacher, who was informative, but also made the day so much fun. Would definitely recommend this course to family and friends, Matt & Maresa
